I spent so long putting a submission together for Backlight IV, I left myself with little opportunity to have a good go at 'Benches'; but I managed to grab some time to walk to a park near my house (while there was still light) and shot the first bench I saw.

Post processing: Some dodging of the seat and back, monochrome filter, USM and then just a bit of curve tweaking and a square crop.

The blown darks and lights certainly make this a dramatic photo. Few photos at DPC stir up strong emotion in me, but this one certainly did. Well done with that.
