 The colors in this photo are all f-'d up. The golden yellow trees receiving direct sunlight in the left of my photo were all blown out. I tried doing some minor HDR, but there were too many elements. So I just used about four layers from two photos. One background layer from a dark photo where the yellow trees weren't so blown out, one background layer from the original to give me the roof, one bench layer from the original, and one layer of leaves on the ground from the original file.

bright-cont
hue-sat
soft brush on a layer mask to blend the two backgrounds by the yellow trees
levels
smart sharpen
curves
rotate
crop
scale
save for web

I think thats all of it. Hope this doesn't suck to bad.

Odd points of view can seem mannered but this one works well. I like the competing natural and man made patterns.
