My friend had some people visiting her family from Italy. This is Maria Sole (pronounced "Maria Sol-ay") who didn't really know any english except a few words here and there. Luckily she spoke a bit of spanish (it's really similar to italian) and I can understand spanish and some of Italian o.k. so I was able to communicate with her...somewhat. Her brother also came with her, his name is Gian Maria (John Maria) and he was much better at speaking English.
The whole time they were here, I just loved saying their names, and whenever I saw them I would always greet them in my terrible Italian accent "Heeyyy! Gian Mariiia e Maria Sollle!" lol. They were fun, but god do they sleep a lot!! I went over to my friend's and saw Maria Sole 3 times before she even knew who I was because she was always sleeping when I came over! I mean, I knew that Europeans take a lot of naps, but wow...just wow. I will miss them though, especially their facination with deer. I remember I was driving at twilight and a group of deer went in front of my car, so I was honking, yelling, and herding them down the road and I heard Gian Maria yell "Oh my gaawww!" I looked at him and his sister and they were both staring in disbelief as he said "Sooo beeeooootiful. Beeeoootiful." lol, apparently they don't have deer in Italy :DDD
As for this shot, it was another accidental one...verrry overexposed, but I kinda liked it once I messed around with it. I think it looks like one of those pencil/ink sketches.
