The only reason I can see for such an array is a display or sensor.
I'm not sure if the background on the left is improving the composition. The right part slowly gets out of focus, this also breaks somewhat the nice rythme of your picture. Still a solid entry for this challenge, very puzzling. |

Hmm. It opens.. it's probably small. Maybe a calculator with a flip up screen? Could that be the back of the solar panels? I have no idea. It's neat though. I wonder if this would look better if it were taken on the diagonal (might help to avoid trying to line up all the straight lines with the edges). |
