A stumper, so meets the challenge. I like the orientation of your subject and the gradient background. Good focus and DOF. One of the better entries in this challenge. Good luck in the voting.

I have to say I don't know. I thought maybe the hub of some kind of wheel - lawnmower, bike, or something but the shaft part is probably too long in comparison to the washers and split pin, and those things probably don't even have anything that looks like that at all.

Obviously someting metal (and very dirty). No idea exactly what it is. Not overly appealing with all that dust on it, a clean object might be better.
