For the last 3 weekends it's been cold and rainy so the things had to do outside never got done. Even though there was some drizzle and sleet and cold today, I decided to just get it done:

put away swings
table & chair from patio
pots with dried up plants
tomato cages
tomato poles
fire ring
hummingbird feeder
starting-to-rot pumpkins from front porch
timer for garden soaker hose
and other stuff I can't remember...

You can't see much about the leaves except for a bit on the left side. They were wet and very heavy, but at least I got my exercise.

What a great slice of life - Ho Hum!! All the chores around the place. Luckily we don't get all the leaves falling here in winter; we just get all the branches falling off the eucalypts usually around august when the winds get up a bit: but they make a great bonfire in winter.

Yard work, it's fun in the spring and lame in the fall!

I think my kids would revolt if we tried to "put up" the swings.

This is interesting. My 8 yr old grandson Robbie has a play set of this same model. He was showing my yesterday how he had modified the swing set, and added a huge piece of rope about 2 1/2 inch diameter, so that he could climb up the slide using the rope. Maybe I will post a shot of it for you to see.

did the guy next door blow all his leaves into your yard?/ hehehe

my kids use the swings and the trampoline even when we tons of snow out there...keeps them happy burning off the excess carbon

How very "slice of life"! I also needs things to move things from outside (before it starts freezing).
