A quick snapshot. Practicing at school with light and a view camera (not sure if that's the right name, there was a 5D body at the end). Never thought it was so difficult to make a photo of a simple cube.

The final result:
' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/65000-69999/69684/120/738277.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/65000-69999/69684/120/738277.jpg', '/') + 1) . '

Added:
Main goal here was: learn how such lights and camera works by getting three different grays on the cube and get it straight (out of the camera). Did a little color temp adjustment, convert to JPG, resized and sharpened.

That is the best looking cube I have ever seen!! :-) Seriously though, I bet that was a very 'enlightening' exercise...

I find my self struggling sometimes knowing how to approach a shot. Seems like your classes are interesting and educational. I'll have to see what they offer at the local University.

Looks like your learning a lot Henk. Amazing setup for what seems like a very simple shot. It would be interesting to know what the final objective was for this lesson or what you were trying to achieve.
