I thought I might even submit a colour photo this time around!!!

This is not technically a "candid" I guess... I waved and used a few gestures to gain his permission to shoot him and a fired a few while he went about his business.

I like the processing and sharpness, everything is working for this one well done.

I am late getting to my comments so I am not reading the comments made by others . Please forgive me if I repeat what others have already said:

What struck me first was the gentle/kind expression on the face of the man.. did you shoot this from the hip or did you choose to tilt this shot? The reason I asked is that I think it would be more effective if it was not quite as tilted .. your pp is interesting.. gives it a feeling of years gone by... not a fan of vingetting in all instances .. not in this one at least.. I like your crop .. the bicycle in the frame makes me think that when he is done he will get up and leave - all in all a nice shot and an interesting story for me to make up in my mind.

Now this is cool. Not candid for sure, but hardly a portrait either -- a good "gotcha" moment. Excellent compostion with that angle, the pigeons, the bike wheel...

I'm wondering if you'd consider a softer vignette in your shots. I'm seeing too much of the border, especially in the thumbs.

Nice earthquake!

Kidding of course. I like tilts but this ones a bit extreme and doesn't do much for the shot, in terms of energy or composition. Not sure if that makes sense.

I like the color tones and his gentle, open facial expression. The angle and vignetting doesn't really add to the shot for me.

This is one of those occasions where I think colour works best.

I like him against the washed out colours of the sea... Also his stare locks you in despite the extreme angle.

Interesting color treatment. Reminds me of slide film from the 1970s.
