i like the guy alot...i'm not so crazy about the girl. i feel he has more in common with those knob things on the fence...but perhaps that's what being strangers is all about...very good.

The gap does seem to be symbolic of the distances people keep from each other, just as the wall separates the pavement from the water. Well seen.

Well done. Very good point of view and composition. Not much in the shot, but still very interesting.

The placement of the people is fine, but overall the image doesn't convey an overall theme/thought to relate the two people to both being in the shot. This may have actually been stronger with just the one person on the left and cropping out the whole right side.
