Nice capture of a dog in all his goofy exuberance, this is a heartwarming image to view. I assume you were trying to pan - looks like the dog's speed vs. shutter speed wasn't paired well enough to get background blur. A slower shutter might have gotten more blur. |

I suspect you were going for a blurred background but it wasn't quite enough to register with the voters. I do think this is a very good picture of the dog, though - excellent definition of the dog and he/she shows up so nicely against the dark background. He looks to be having a very good time as well! |

not enough motion blur to make the blur 'enhance' the shot, looks like a regular snap. Doesn't make it a bad photo just a bit DNMC |
