Another last minute entry, but I think this turned out alright.

Yes, that is a real $20 bill. Luckily I think enough is left of it that it is still legal tender. :)

Pretty simple.. A studio light to the right side, lit the cigar and $20 bill and snapped some pictures.

Editting mostly done in Lightroom 2 including sharpening, slight crop, and greyscale. Final USM, resize and Save for Web done in the GIMP.

Nice Idea and well executed. But you better hide your identity now, burning money is a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment in Canada mate !

awesome. while I like shallow depth at times, I'd be interested to see this with a deep field. might be even better if we could see the girl better

A classic take on the topic.
The exceptionally narrow depth of field, while well done technically, does not work for me here. It makes the photo a little too much OOF for my liking, and also the overall photo too dark as well as a result
