 This photograph represents my point of view of poor, homeless peoples' situation in major cities. One crooked dollar means, 1 meal a day and a shalter for many people. No cards or id.

I used sunlight as the light source and background is simple ikea box with semi transparent cloth.

I found the obligue line thru the top left of the image distracting

It's the loneliest number that you'll ever do. Nice shallow DOF really focuses on the subject.

I'm not getting a sense of poverty here. I often find myself with no more than one dollar in my pocket, but I am not poor. This just doesn't convery the emotion of poverty to me.
