 I'll probably get hammered in voting because I used the Orton effect, but I really like it. This is a very young giraffe at the Philadelphia Zoo. He was nibbling on the tip of that branch. They really are posers and always give great face. LOL! I have many great shots but like this one the best. So, bring on the 4.5!

I love the lighting here, great pose, cool subject, and the branch lends interest to the composition. The darkness of the bg still detracts, would be nice to see it lightened. I gave this one a 7. I don't know what the Orton effect is, but guess I'd better learn!

Best giraffe photo I have ever seen. It has kind of a calming feel to it. I could see this on the wall..

Terrific capture, the expression is great, however the dark edges and the glow in the centre detract a bit from the overall impact

The pose and the face are lovely, but my eye keeps getting drawn to the bright spot on his neck, instead of the face.
