Pacific coastline at Pebble Beach, outlined by dead branches (NOT of the Lone Cypress®). The branch forms reminded me of a Japanese ikebana floral arrangement, so I rotated it into the "correct" orientation.

General. I have to admit, I have always enjoyed looking at your work as you are not afraid to be unconventional. Another thing I like is that you are consistent in your work. I always enjoy the little surprises you have and this one does not disappoint one bit. The leading lines are great and the exposure is spot on. I would have given it an 8. I think your perspective on the world and photography is unique and fresh. Keep up the good work!

The 91 degree angle orientation is ... interesting. It took a few seconds to figure it out. I would have liked normal orientation better.

rotation doesn't work for me; too many confusing lines, lacks an effective subject

I can't see why you would orientate this photo this way. Well, OK ikebana might be vertical, but it is uncomfortable to look at and in its conventional landscape orientation it would be a nice photo.

really don't like the rotation, I find myself tilting my head 90 degrees

I think this photo is slightly tilted (by 90 degrees or so)... and ther is no reason for that

This is actually pretty nice. I don't think the rotation helps at all.

I prefer the proper rotation (if it wasn't an error to begin with).

I would have preferred this photo a lot more in landscape mode - was it uploaded wrong?

Did you intend to submit it sideways? I think it is a nice image, and would have liked to have seen the ends of the limbs to improve the image....but sideways just doesn't work.
