I brought a small new jungle plant that thrives in the Amazon, that look like a thin grass plant with tiny seed pods.
It is in a clear square cube shape glass container with soil. The glass square container is about 10cmx10cm, and the area in the image here is about 5cmx5cm in size.
It has a gap of about 1 cm of space, between the plant and the edges of the glass container, with the plant inside, and is filled with these amazing round clear gel-like orbs, or gel-balls. The orbs are about the size of a small pea.
I was hooked, and just had to take some macros of the amazing detail and patterns, one can see in these tiny fragile clear gel-balls, on all four sides of the glass container.
One can touch them, and they are squishy and soft and reflect some color as well. They are used as water crystals, and I have never seen any like these before.
They remind me of tadpole eggs, or plastic bubble wrap.....
Enjoy..... |

Cool abstract. I don't know if it is possibly, but if you could get them reflect different colors (like the blue and yellow near the bottom third) throughout, that would make for a wildly colorful abstract. |

Nice abstract - I like all the detail and subtle colours that can be seen in the image. |

What a great find and nicely presented! I like how they are all similar yet each one appears slightly unique. |

Now, that's what I call 'filling the frame' :)
Very well presented. |

Shez, this is really neat. I at first thought they were bubbles until I opened it up and read the description. |

Wonderful abstract. It's just nice to look at all the details here. And (you're a master in that) a very nice triptych.
Perhaps a non-square crop here would make it even more interesting, but I'm not sure about that. |

Thats a fantastic shot. On the thumb my immediate reaction was tadpole eggs : )
I love the different colour reflections running through them. Nice one!! |
