Strangely enough, I find my eye oscillating between the sharp portion lower left and upper right and not really coming to settle on either. |

Love the albino slug...oops...someone already mentioned that. I like the detail in the upper leaf. |

Excellent detail and composition although I would crop or clone out the spec of leaf in the upper left corner. I do like how you also captured that alien albino manatee slug with his mouth wide open right in the middle of the frame. ;-) |

The 105 gives very shallow DOF at the aperture you chose for this. I am guessing that it was f4. It looks good on the leaves, but seems a bit distracting on the bud in the center for only the nearest point of it to be in focus.
I use one of the older manual Micro Nikkor 105 f2.8's and love it for it's very shallow DOf when shooting wide open. |

Love the detail on the top right leaf, found the DOF of the central item a bit off putting at first but once my eyes adjusted it's quite nicely balanced be the sort of symmetry obtained be the leaf in the bottom left. |
