[Oct. 14th, 2008 01:39:01 AM]

My cousin and I decided to do some fishing on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia - the bait shop was closed so we bought a dozen goldfish from the pet store. Didn't catch anything, but I did set up the tripod on the ledge and took a 30 second pic of me atop my tackle box, 'fishing'.

Again, I was my own reluctant model, as my cousin refused to sit still and the pics of him didn't turn out. It's hard to sit still for that long.

I liked this one because of how the airplane trail balanced out the composition on the right end.

I got recommended for validation on the first day so I guess it looks pretty PP'd, but Post-processing actually wasn't too much. A Shadow/Highlights adjustment to bring in all the highlights confined the moon to that ball and brought all the pinks out in the sky. Then some curves and such to fine tune.

Did not expect this to score as high as it did, thank you for the comments and votes!

I can't put my finger on it, but I like this image. I like that it's not the "typical" entry. Good job.
