 Well, I had exams last week. But I was willing to recreate the scene. Shot in evening with only one light and a tripod. I study architecture and this is how my desk looks like during exams.

I did use a tripod and the original image is really sharp. Something went very wrong when I resized the image for the contest. It's my first entry and I never resized an image that much. I was quite late with the entry so I guess I was sort of hoping that it wouldn't be that bad. It is though :P I did some researche and I know what I did wrong so next time no blurry image from me! Thnks a lot for all your comments by the way. About the composition: I'm really chaotic especially while studying and this is just how my desk looks :P could have made it better for the photo though.

Out of focus. Composition looks cluttered. While I realize that's part of the image, I think a cluttered composition could be done in a way that lead your eye through the image.

I like the composition, but too much of the photo is out of focus. Did you tripod or hand-hold???

i like the idea, but am not sure what exactly is in focus or what the main focal point is. Perhaps a bit too busy.

Studying certain is work and this shot demonstrates that...out of focus though and the lighting is rather dim

Like the POV but looks a little hazy - Maybe a hand or something in there could have added some more interest
