Inspired by bvy, this is my fist attempt to cross-processing.

The little fellow seems lost in the wonderment of the moment.
I like the way you cropped this with the mom's hand holding his in the corner. Cross-processing looks good too. Nice job.

I like just the adult's hand here, as others have mentioned. I think I would have liked a bit more of the child (his feet) in the frame, but you get what you get in this game! I LOVE cross processing - lots of fun. I tend to overdo it but hey, I like it so I do it anyway. Glad you're picking up a few things here!

There is so much that i just love about this shot... the way his hand is so solidly held by an adult.. he is safe.. the expression on his face..what is it that is holding his attention? I love the way his mouth is - a child's softness - no fear.. just an all around well done photo.

little kids holding hands with mom/dad - cool stuff- the cross processing gives this a very nostalgic feel

Love the face under the big hat, the hands at that glimpse of passerby's leg, all to indicate the boy's moment.

Wow, I've inspired someone! Good job. Speaking in general, I think this technique needs to be applied judiciously. A little goes a long way, I'm discovering, and a lot of folks (I'm also discovering) consider it cheesy. I think it works here -- if anything it's a good study in cross-processing.

That aside, this seems to lack a little bit of texture -- like maybe too much noise reduction was applied. Or maybe the focus is just soft.

Sweet... Smart to leaves just the adult's hand holding the child's.

Sweet catch; I like the processing, too.
