 Wow! I can’t believe this. A personal best and my first ribbon! Thanks for all the comments and nice words.

Regarding the shot: I knew this was the shot I wanted the moment I saw this fountain with kids playing around in bicycles and tricyles. The problem was that the sun was setting pretty fast and there were lots of people crossing the fountain and stopping by to take some photos. I took several shots in the 5/10 mins I had but none was perfect. I eventually managed to isolate a kid with some heavy crop but my idea was to have the silhouette smaller and the frozen water dominating the pic even more. Nevertheless, I’m glad you think the photo works :)

I've seen many photos of that place and they all have a strong effect on me. They are so fascinating, even in a heavy crop. :)
