Lovely moody shot. Nice raw textures.

I like the lighting and the mood of the scene. The composition is good with the space on the left. The post/wall on the right was the last thing I noticed, it gives added depth which works for me.

Nice catch. I like how the light reflects off the crosshatch of the bench. Has nice peaceful "cool evening" feel to it. Very relaxed. You've done a good job of having your subject be the focal point that I didn't notice the bit on the right until I read the other comments. Even still it doesn't bother me.

I would have liked to see a closer crop on the right and a wider crop on the left also. Nonetheless this is a very interesting find. That D3 really does hold it's own at high ISOs...

I would be interested to see more of his face as Sarah says, in a different picture. I think his posture and just the right amount of light captured on him convey a zen like realisiation of a life led and life around him.

This has a good lonely feel to it. What ISO did you use? I almost suggested cropping out the right side, but it does kind of add to the candidness of the capture -- like you were hiding behind a post (and maybe you were).

I like the composition of this one, but perhaps would like you to be a bit closer to see more of his face.
