I love this and the blown out area only adds to it's impact. |

Blown definitely suits this. Love the vibrance of the color (yes, this is one that is best in color, methinks), and as usual your wonderful sense of composition/framing of everyday scenes to make them little mini-novels of sorts. |

I really enjoy the colors in this shot... the way the wall of the building blends into the man's shirt seems to add to the sense of motion - as if he is popping in from the future... the shadows are interesting and I think the color of the curb is an excellent accent. |

Like a lot. Blown suits it, a sort of midday dream. |

This is beautifully composed and the overexposure works to accentuate and separate the colors and shapes. Seems only slightly oversaturated. |

The high key works well with the only really blown-out part
being part of the guys shirt.
A perfect capture of the couple with the lovebird sign on the window. |

the high key feel accentuates the shadows and mid day feel - the placement of the pedestrians is on the money - good job |

Germaine, I think the over-exposure works very well, except for where it sort of bleeds into the walking couple. I like what the increased color saturation has done to the curb -- it's like they are walking next to lava! Nice connection between the couple and the Lovebird window sign. |

The blown out wall doesn't bother me as much as the guy's shirt disappearing into it. Overall, though, I do like the image a lot. Nicely composed, with a sense of action and movement. I think the heavy shadows help the shot rather than hurt it. |

Difficult lighting conditions for sure, but I do like the effect the brightness gives. Some great shadows there too. |

On the contrary, I like the blown out wall and the focus on the shop window. If only we could see her too... Give me a sepia of this!!! You know you want to!

The colors interest me more than the action/candid part of the image. Were these colors (eps. the curb) somewhat accurate to the posted image? |

Cool. This reminds me a bit of Oded's work. |

I can't complain about the blown out wall. It somehow appeals to me. But the curb looks oversaturated. Is that how it already looked? I would have probably toned the curb down a little. |
