| I think he's pointing out that his particular perch is far more stable than the one the humans are currently occupying. Probably feels pretty darn good about that, too! |

Trying to think of some moral or classical reference for this scene. It doesn't quite fit the Odyssey, unless this describes where you and your recently fired coworkers might be, and the bird on the rock augers better for you all than you now imagine.
(Maybe not the place, but felicitations on your marriage. I trust your wife is the beautiful woman who reminds me of Irene Pappas - if not, you need your head examined and I will never look at your photos again).

Kinda of a ironic that the day I was getting married it was announced that our publishing unit was being shut down and we all lost our jobs...I found out the next day. New beginnings all over I guess... : ) |

The lighting here is lovely. I like the contrast of the single bird (not sure what species!) on the rock with the group of people in the boat behind. Nice strong silhouette.
And, just one more time, very many congratulations on your recent nuptials! |
