This is great! Joy is not exactly the feeling it gives me--more like a dark figure lurking in there, up to something. The colors and exposure, dof all contribute perfectly to this image. very well done! 8

Ok, I see your point. Just enough lack of focus to make it work. I think a less centered crop might have made it more visually pleasing.

I can see the joy, but there is something scary about the dark figure too. I think it is abstract, and emotional, so you met the challenge well.

It took me some time to notice the person in this.(A good thing.) The wild scatter of color does convey joy.
