If you are going to do an ultra closeup it is a good idea to so so with a longer lense so that the nose does not look extra huge like it does here. Sorry but this one does not work for me at all.

This shot would benefit from either more DoF or the focal point being set on the subject's eyes, IMO.

Close is nice, but B&W here would have hidden the red eyes, and maybe a greater focal length would have given a more natural look of the nose. Unless this is what you were going for?

Interesting crop. I think you could have used the white balance setting in your camera to reduce the orangeness of the image.
