A serious crop of a deer in captivity. The shot didn't mean anything to me until I hit full screen on the image...and it was centered on her eye. Then, I almost felt her angst, I wonder if it conveys well enough for this challenge.

This works very well for me - the view of the eye has a harshness, almost an anger to it, and the blur of the bokeh depicts a wildness that the beast longs for.
I can't tell what animal this is... I wish I could have seen more of its face. If this was a large cat (lion), then I think the photo has an emotion of, "I'm going to eat you next."
