 I took this photo at White Sands in New Mexico. The sun had just come out from behind the clouds near the horizon to the west. The color created from the sunset is responsible for the pinkish cast to the pure white dunes.

It's hard to describe just how beautiful this place is. It was my second visit, but hope to return many more times.

Evening light took this from terrific to OUTSTANDING..

Well scene and taken!!! Can see why u would like to visit many more times.. It looks like a great spot on the planet to see...

Oh man...evening light?!?!?! Are you kidding me? I hate evening light. Evening light is so yucca! Now, if it had only been morning light. I love morning light! Oh wait...I LOVE the dunes! Ok, 10...!

Lots of landscapes in open study but this would have to be one of my favs. I love the patterns in the sand, the blue sky and the warm glow on the plants.
