I see your intent but a heart is a heart and not abstract. Maybe if you turned it a different orientation?

Very simple, very effective. Clever colour choice/lighting to enhance the emotional impact and the idea of the heart as negative space makes the shot. Also proves that having a clearly defined object is not a barrier in an abstract challenge. 9.
