 I did quite a few things to try to get the color I wanted- I don't remember enough to give you all the specifics but I did use some masking to keep all of them from effecting the sky too much and also used a mild gausial blur on some of the background along with some dodge and burn (but not much- mostly on the boat).

Taken at the speed boat races this past weekend on Mission Bay in San Diego.

I like how all that purple in the hanging cloth complements the foliage.
