The Image: Not sure if this is going to meet the challenge, but I think this is a great colour image in black and white. It was taken on a night when my team Hawthorn won the Preliminary final to progress through to the Grand Final on Saturday 27th September. It was a fantastic win, and our first Grand Final since 1991 when our daughter was born! I was there, and was lucky enough to get a ticket. The guy taking the 'mark' is our champion Lance 'Buddy' Franklin.

The Edit: grayscale, duotone, rgb, USM, Noise Ninja, smart sharpen

The Prediction: Could go either side of 6

I thought this was yours, Enzo, but I didn't think it would do that, hmm, mediocre. Very good action shot, as Melethia mentioned, works better in b/w than in colour. Can imagine blue and red shirts and green lawn, though. Maybe just too many "colours" to stand out.

I prefer shots like these in B&W - tends to keep the focus on the action, the faces, the forms. No doubt it's vibrant in color, but the "color" (colour in your case) is the action itself. In essence, this is a very solid interpretation of the challenge on a figurative (and literal) level. And were I to guess, I'd say this is Enzo's. (If not, that's a compliment!)

Nice image, good contrast. It doesn't imply one particular color, but does imply there is color there.

Great action capture and such clarity. Nice conversion, too.
