Very creative interpretation and good lighting idea. The crayola box is a little too soft and diminishes the effectiveness unfortunately.

lighting and focus need help.. You cant even tell that its a prisim and light beam.
Sorry but crayons are what EVERYONE went for.

I like the idea ... the execution however, is lacking in contrast & clarity. Interesting lighting though, just needs to be kicked up a notch. BTW commenting only

A very good idea for the challenge but the technicals let you down a bit. There's not quite enough light on the crayon box (in my opinion and the focus is just a bit off there as well. On monitors tending toward the dark side, it's not possible to truly make out the prism (I can see it on a lighter monitor.)
