 This was taken at the annual volleyball tournament held at our church picnic. I was sitting almost immediately under the net on the sideline trying to capture someone missing the ball entirely, but I wasn't having much luck.

After taking this one (it really was out), I liked the composition, so I decided to stick with that over one of the numerous 'person-missing-the-ball' shots. Don't think it'll do brilliantly, but here goes nothin'!

PP steps -
1. Convert from raw - adjust exposure, contrast, saturation.
2. Rotate ever so slightly to get the horizontal rope exactly horizontal
3. Crop very slightly
4. Resize
5. USM
6. Save for web

oh crap...i always sucked at sports.....this would suck...but the shot seems alittle boring...i wish i could see expressions on the players faces or maybe just more of the shot!

Nice photo, but doesn't really contain enough information to convey the title IMO. Good sharp focus throughout though.
