 Was at the Hawk Ridge Observatory last weekend. They caught this Merlin as part of their banding project. I have a couple of shots of her (him?) looking my way, but in this one he was trying to bite the person holding him.
I was using my 50-500 with the 1.4x teleconverter, since I was trying to get shots of flying birds when they brought this bird out for the demo.
