 This is my husband Pete. He is out on our terrace (we face onto the bushland) doing some programming (he's an IT guy).

I mounted my SB-600 camera left (slightly behind him) with a 70mm zoom setting, directly onto his face. I wanted it to appear like the light was coming from the screen, but I don't think I quite got there.

I know the shadows are quite harsh, but that was kinda what I was aiming for. I wanted something a bit dramatic. I wonder how I could have made the effect a bit more realistic - any ideas?

Your general thoughts?

The first thing I noticed was the appearance that the screen was lighting his face, so I think you did achieve it. This would make a very good shot for a stock agency.
