Lot more effort than the result shows. Lighting was with two glowsticks (taped to the back of the helmet and cloak). Standing very still for 15 seconds to get the light saber to glow was very hard. I tried some moving shots of the light saber but none of them really worked.

On a calibrated monitor this looks passable with a nice siloette. On a cheap LCD or Laptop monitor, I am guessing folks just saw a glowing red streak and wondered what I was thinking. Live and learn.

Works perfectly on my probably too bright monitor. Love the simple composition and the bright red against the dark green and the black.

Kinda static, did you try moving the light saber?

Pretty good idea but the figure is just a wee bit too dark to make out clearly on one of my monitors - this could be hurting your vote a bit.

I'd put some more light on the figure.

funny shot - my kids have those lightsabers too - the fuzzy edges to the silhouette take it down a bit

The silhouette is a good idea. Light saber would look more impressive if it were sharper (focus-wise).

LoL, this reminds me of that youtube joke that some guy did to his wife using the Darth Vader Mask and lightsaber. It was too funny. I was rolling down laughing. I stil laugh at the vid until this day.
Here is a link to the video for your enjoyment
