 The boattail was one of the most distinctive body styles of automotive history, and was copied by many custom coach builders. This paint job is a bit brighter than most, but from what I understand, these cars were pretty much custom-order, so any paint scheme is considered correct on a restoration - even if not the original.

Now this one I NEED!!...:) I LOVE IT!! Every once in a while we need to see this old time glitz of paint and chrome! I even like the relections here and there to emphasize that glitter and glitz. Great photo I think, and of course a great car. Can I have one now (the car I mean)??

With the roof up, that looks like an awful squeeze to get into and out of.
