 Welcome to Chicago's Northside

Taken from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Tower in Chicago. The highway is called Lake Shore Drive, following the shores of Lake Michigan. I live in a highrise at the far end of the drive and I drive to and from work on the drive everyday :-).

Tech: contrast masking, saturation, color balance and unsharp masking.

Thanks to all who voted especially to those who left comments. On to the next challenge!

If taken from a plane...your planes have cleaner windows than the ones I've been on! This is a really nice shot. The shoreline really adds interest.

Great perspective - exposure. The only minor comment I'd make is that since that sky is so bright at the very top, attracting attention, I'd just take it out all together. Your image is superb without it. It's so minot that I'm not taking away any points however. Very nice job.
