Hi James, I really loved the detail and sharpness of this photo along with all the tones and contrasts in the beak and wing really made this one stand out. Very nice composition/ positioning in the frame, I really like how the head is in the upper left area of the shot and the DOF blurs your Background. Cant wait to see more from you. |

james, I really like how you've composed this one. You put the bird's face nearer the edges and not in the center. Ask your dad about the rule of thirds, and he'll tell you how well you used it here! I also like your choice of f-stop and how it blurs the background. Well done! I look forward to seeing more of your pictures here. |

Nice detail on the feathers, both black ans white. I wish the white were whiter, but perhaps they were that way in real life. But the expression is priceless. At least in the top 25. Congrats. |

Yikes ----he looks kind a mean here.. Eagles have the most intense stare of any other bird of raptor i think.. |
