PostLuminous Nomination
so many "push something" entries, an attractive "pull" entry

Wow, you've got a lot of constructive Comments and Views. Nice DOF to emphasize her struggling expression.

Good idea, shame that you cropped so close to her head, cutting off the top of hert hair. More space above her would have balanced the photo, more space below also would have added to the shot. Seeing her feet and how the pole is stuck in the ground I think would have added to the overall effect

I wish you hadn't chopped of her feet...

I like the photo, I wish I could have seen the rest of her foot and from where she's trying to pull/push the bar.

I would have liked this better had her feet and the bar's entry in to the dirt, or whatever it was mounted in, not been cut off. As is, she could merely be holding the rod in her hands.

Haha! I like the face she is making. Must have been a bit windy there. Her hair is blowing all over her face.

nice crop on this, wish she appeared to be trying harder, like seeing the arm muscles a little more maybe, not sure if she's pushing or pulling

Cool image but a little overexposed.

why does she want this piece of rebar? Why does she seem happy even though it is stuck?

Great composition, texture selection. Hmmm yes and model. Perhaps a reflective light source to lessen the shadowed face may have held improvement.

Really pretty model and an amusing photo, nice light too. Well done.

The model's pose conveys the sense of futility at trying to move the object well.

this needs the feet and where the rebar starts IMHO

Lovely model, and I'll agree that it's impossible to move rebar stuck in the ground! She looks like she's having too much fun though! :-)

Meets the challenge well. The contrast and colors are flat.

Like the tension in the hands, wish it were carried through in the arms and legs. Color/contrast are a little flat.

I like this but the photo would make more sense if we could see the ground where the bar is stuck.

I love the lighting. Most times the harsh light does not work but this seems to work well

what is she pulling on? (4)

I remember when i was a little girl and i tried to move a stick like that in the ground and it was immovable!

A reflector board to brighten the face would have made this fun image a touch better

can't really make out what she's trying to move...

I am contemplating whether this image would have scored as high if this actress was not there. Nevertheless, decent shot. Sharp, in focus, depicts the effort one would make to move the immovable (expressins could have been better). The scene however could have been more powerful if the actress would fit in the context.
