 This was a random idea for a shot as I was dabbling with my screensavers and just wondered what I could do in conjunction with a polarizer. Just took a handful of shots to keeping the filter sharp and hoped for a random pattern that looked good, hoping there would be a nice shading. Background is combination of motion blur and DOF. No clue how this will be received, but here goes..

This is very interesting and well done abstract work, nice use of the filter. ;)

I thought this would place higher. Looking at the voting breakdown, I can see you had a lot of moderately high votes, but it was countered by an awful lot of extremely low votes. Abstracts don't usually do well in most challenges. It's still pretty good, IMO, just does not appeal to a broad audience.

My initial thought would be it would be cool if you showed the polarizer actually bending the light. Nice shot.
