This is a friend of mine and his reasonably-new girlfriend. This was taken at another friend's wedding over the weekend. The weather was terrible - did not stop raining all day so almost all my photos were relying on my speedlight SB-600. This one I bounced off the ceiling and fixed some shadows in PP.

Cloned out a really obvious person next to the girl's head, but decided to leave the guy next to my friend Charles. Made selective brightness adjustment to bring his eyes out of shadow (can probably see the noise now).

Cloned out small skin imperfections on him, played with the liquify filter to make her eyes ever so slightly bigger (I've been wanting to play with that for a long time!), whitened her braces, dodged slightly to bring out the details in her hair that was shadowed.

I'd be interested to hear people's opinions.

I think this is nice, one thing that sticks out is the racoon eyes. I dont know the nikon speed light so I cant say for sure, but is there a small white pull out bounce card on it? Perhaps pull it out to toss some fill forward. Otherwise, I might suggest a good modifier, Many complain out the lightsphere being wasteful of light, but its very flattering and tosses good light in all directions. Might look into it. I'd also like to commend you on the job on the eyes, very hard to tell anything was done.

Nicely done! As someone already stated, that you can't tell about the eyes and braces says a lot for the quality of the edit. The man's eyes just look a tad cloudy. The pose is great, and the man in the background is oof enough to be insignificant.

Nice job. The lighting is a little strange, but the processing job is good. Love the clothes.

I think this turned out well considering the circumstances. You had no control over their clothes, but the colors and patterns are calling for attention. I wouldn't have guessed that you did anything to her eyes or teeth, which means you did a good job. And most importantly, they look happy.
