With all the photos with black or white or colored backgrounds, I cannot see how by viewing this photo it was picked out for validation, when there are at least 26 photos with plain backgrounds showing no elements supporting the product.
My Processing was done by selecting and using the gradient map, sliding the location slider to 52% had I only gone to 57% a very faint outline was visible.I wonder if the person who asked for validation did the same with the other photos of the same finish.

Disqualification Details
You may not use ANY editing tool to move, remove or duplicate any element of your photograph that would change a typical viewer's description of the photograph (aside from color), even if the tool is otherwise legal, and regardless of whether you intended the change when the photograph was taken.

Darn. It's so confusing about what is and what is not legal with backgrounds, isn't it? Sorry about the DQ. This is clean and very well done.

Too bad, Brian. I really like this shot. The color of the background complements the computer screen nicely. I like the still life arrangement. Nice clean, clear image.

Cropped a bit tight at the bottom but it's nice and bright, good placement of the items.

The laptop screen is a bit too bright, maybe putting it at a bit of an angle would have helped
