It looks to me like you blurred the outside parts of the photo. That would be illegal in basic editing.

That sucks cause it was a good image.

Did you blur the foreground and background on the computer?

First image I've seen that isn't a literal definition of 'immovable'. I love it. :).

A different take, and one that works. I like the idea, the lighting effect and what you have come up with. The childs arm fades off nicely. I would have been tempted to do the same with the fathers, leaving slightly more of the photo in on the bottom left where the arm is going out of focus for the same effect

Beautiful idea, well executed. Sharp and clean image, effectively conveying strong emotion. Hope it does well... I like the images that look at the deeper meaning of the challenge theme while still meeting the challenge criteria.

A little bit dark for my taste. But nice symbolism.

Beautiful! Good DoF. I would however have liked to see maybe a bit more color. Not to much but just a bit more!

What can I say, pity that you had to live with exclusive challenge. I think this would have done well in DOF iv as well.

This looks a bit more possessive than loving to me, holding the child's hand by the wrist that way. Still, the light and tone look great.

I don't really like the lighting very much. Just seems a bit dull.

I am sure you are getting lower DNMC votes on this. I see a child is the object of a fathers love and that love may be immovable, but I don't see love as an object. I looked up love in the dictionary, it can be a noun, so I am saying a noun can be an object, I guess, and voting accordingly.

Great concept, but the challenge said: "someone trying to move the immovable" (please read the challenge requirements). May be I somehow dont see that being portayed.
