This works well. It does look as though the eyes are underexposed (!), but ain't that the way it goes. I also have a feeling there's a little too much softness or blur there - but I'm only saying that because I think this could have the makings of a great picture and it might be worth trying to improve on it.
He's a cutie! Overexposure is good for this challenge but his face seems a bit soft. Almost as if the focus is on his forehead/hair instead of his eyes/face.
