This is a third grader, Yoshiki. He has a twin brother, with whom I shared a lunch table today. They're pretty much identical, even having the same laugh. ;-Þ
Typical automatic "peace" sign, which I usually discourage. (Japanese kids are taught to do it even when they're pre-talking toddlers.... <"¤"> )

Cute angle, cute kid! I've seen Japanese tourists do the peace signs too, and wondered about that.

Is the peace sign your version of "cheese!"? I like his expression. He is smiling but almost not really. Almost like a standard face gesture, but he pulls it off very well. Cute kid. Love the angle.
