My niece, 3. Their house was built in 1900 and has the most wonderful vintage charm. The lace curtains added so much to the moment. I had her turn to see what was outside and then as she turned back, I snapped this. I did a soft grunge overlay after making it sepia in Color Efex Pro3. Thought of using this for FS but it looked so much better with the layer and the debate of allowing them still goes on.
I kinda prefer the version you have at OE. I don't mind the layer, but I'd rather it not be over her face so strongly. The base picture on its own is simply splendid.
Oh my...that dress could not be more perfect for this image. Did you coordinate her outfit or was it just pure luck that she wore that and not a Dora the Explorer shirt that day? Beautiful, fitting treatment. What a wonderful keepsake.
