A different crop might improve this. I love the face, but it's too close to the edge. And a portrait crop would cut out the distracting blanket/flysheet/whatever that is. Still one of the better shots.

Lovely foal. I might have a bit more negative space around his head all around and delete the brown border. I think it distracts the eye from his face. Nice DOF.
