 It is so ironic that purple, considered the color for royalty, is the color of figs and wine, the food and drink of kings. And, in many ways, has provided the path to riches and ruins, and, ultimately, consolation from the two. My first entry. I set photo up just before dinnertime, when I thought the light was just so in my family room. Of course after dinner, I ate and drank my props.

I actually really like this shot. It is hard to capture purples. I think that the things for me that stand out and lowered your score are the focus issue, the wine glass is not looking straight and seems to tilt to one side. the mirror just doesnt work. If you had got in closer with a tighter look at it, then i think this would have scored higher. try it again with some of the suggestions listed in the comments.

I think this would have been better with a sharper focus.
