I like the color and lighting in this shot and the blurred background is pleasing as well. The angle of this shot doesn't do it for me though. I do like dynamic angles and viewpoints but I feel that your GF is rotated in the photo too much. If this is a crop and you have room in the shot I would rotate her to the left a bit making her face more of an angle diagonal through the frame(Chin pointing to the bottom left of the frame) I feel this would improve the composition and prevent the viewer(at least me) from rotating my head to look at her. |

Hey Evan, I think this is a great photo. Tis nicely exposed, and the pose looks great. Personally, I would rather see it at a little bit less of an extreme angle. I like to tilt my camera for a lot of shots too, but this may be a little bit too much.
You might be able to boost the contrast a little bit with levels/curves too. Keep it up though! |
