I tried many different crops, but there was always some part not straight. I haven't enetered in so long, I am going to just take my low score and be happy.

I see a red door and I want to paint it black.

Better than a low score in my book! Welcome back! And while I sometimes don't care for selective desat, I do like it when it is effective - and it's very effective here, both for the challenge and for this photograph.

...honestly dont like the selective color. The door would have been good on its own with a different crop. The midtones in the shot are great, but it may be just a bit dark in some areas.

Nice use of selective coloring!

Pretty but IMHO if you had centered the photo to show the steps and door it may have given a better perspective.

I love the composition but find the selective saturation of the door a detraction from the overall feel of the beautiful scene. This is just a matter of taste though. You like vanilla: I like chocolate. :~)
